Patented Forced Air Convection
FRIOCELL® EVO large volume CO2 incubators are designed to create accurate and reproduceable conditions for cell growth procedures, tissue, virology, and other culturing procedures. The patented forced air convection system provides even temperature distribution throughout the chamber, while the drift-free infrared (IR) sensor provides maximum reliability and measurement precision during the entire incubation process.

Chamber Construction
The FRIOCELL® is equipped with a pharmaceutical grade AISI 304 stainless steel chamber with a double wall construction to prolong life expectancy. The inner chamber features a seamless, rounded corner design and is fully removable for easier cleaning and sterilization. The door of the chamber employs a patented 4-point closing system that seals the door to the chamber gasket and enables hands-free opening and closing.

EVO Digitial Controller
BMT USA’s advanced EVO controller utilizes fuzzy logic to assess process data, including operation temperature, chamber size, and other controlled elements. Based on the assessed data, the controller can make continuous adjustments to input values, such as heating intensity or cooling, to optimally regulate internal chamber conditions. With the goal of minimizing the time required to meet set process parameters, units equipped with the EVO controller can quickly ramp up to the exact temperature set point without overshooting. The result is reduced overall cycle time, power consumption, and recovery times after opening the chamber door(s).

BMT Patented Forced Air Convection System
BMT’s patented force air convection system moves air vertically and horizontally inside the chamber for precise temperature uniformity and fast heating and cooling times. The process of heating from the bottom of the chamber to the top mimics natural airflow, allowing for more precise simulation of climatic conditions.
CO2 Sensor
All BMT FRIOCELL® EVO large volume CO2 incubators are equipped with a Vaisala drift free infrared CO2 sensor. The sensor provides accurate CO2 measurements at all times, ensuring samples are always culturing at the correct CO2 concentration levels. The drift free CO2 sensor also eliminates the need for additional auto-referncing/zeroing of the sensor to prevent drifting of the CO2 calibration.
