Cooling Incubators

Friocell ^ECO cooling incubators are designed for applications that require temperatures ranging from -10°C up to 100°C, including biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) testing, sample storage, microbiological and bacteria research, insect or fish rearing, and seed germination.

The patented forced air convection system moves air vertically and horizontally throughout the chamber to ensure precise temperature uniformity. Microprocessor controls maintain accurate temperatures without overshooting the set point and allows for flexible and repeatable cycles. Friocell cooling incubators are FDA CFR 21 Part 11 compliant when equipped with optional Warmcomm 4.0F software.

Pharmaceutical-Grade Stainless Steel Chamber

Friocell devices are equipped with a pharmaceutical grade AISI 304 stainless steel chamber with a double wall construction to prolong life expectancy. The inner chamber features a seamless, rounded corner design and is fully removable for easier cleaning and sterilization. The door of the chamber employs a patented 4-point closing system that seals the door to the chamber gasket and enables hands-free opening and closing.

Double wall chamber construction with 5 layers of insulation for more uniform internal chamber conditions.

Removable inner chamber with seamless, rounded corner design for easier cleaning and sterilization.

ECO Digital Controller

The BMT ECO digital controller utilizes fuzzy logic to assess process data, including operating temperature, chamber size, and other controlled elements. Based on the assessed data, the controller can make continuous adjustments to input values, such as heating intensity or cooling, to optimally regulate internal chamber conditions. Devices equipped with the ECO digital controller can quickly ramp up to the exact temperature set point without overshooting, minimizing the time required to reach set process parameters. The result is reduced overall cycle time, power consumption, and recovery times after opening the chamber door(s).
