BMT USA Steam-to-Steam Generators are designed to efficiently convert plant steam into clean or pure steam, making them ideal for applications where steam quality and contamination control are critical. Each unit is built with a durable 316L stainless steel shell-and-tube heat exchanger, offered in single- or double-tube-sheet configurations to meet varying safety and compliance requirements. With rapid heating and response times, these generators deliver consistent, reliable performance for cGMP, laboratory, and food-grade applications.
Available in capacities ranging from 50 lbs/hr to over 5,000 lbs/hr, BMT USA steam-to-steam generators offer the flexibility and performance to support both small-scale and high-volume production needs.100 lbs/hr @ 100 PSIG

An evaporator consists of a hollow shell containing multiple tubes. When generating clean steam, the evaporator shell is filled with plant steam, which provides thermal energy for heating. Inside the tubes, reverse osmosis (RO) or deionized (DI) feed water fills to approximately 40% of their volume. As the feed water is heated by the plant steam, it begins to evaporate and rise through the tubes. As the vapor rises, it is further heated, removing any remaining moisture to produce clean, dry and saturated steam.
Any impurities left behind in the concentrated feed water are periodically flushed out through a timed blowdown valve to prevent buildup and maintain system efficiency. For applications that demand the highest levels of steam purity, such as pharmaceutical production, a dedicated steam separation device can be installed. This device ensures the complete removal of any remaining impurities, delivering steam that meets the most stringent quality and purity standards.
