DUROCELL® chambers are coated with EPOLON to provide protection from aggressive and corrosive substances such as acids or alkaline liquids. Through the use of natural gravity convection, DUROCELL® dry heat ovens produce no noise or vibration while providing soft air movement and exceptional temperature uniformity. DUROCELL® dry heat ovens are ideal solution for drying sensitive materials such as light powders and compounds, while also being suitable for industrial material quality and durability testing applications and the sterilization of glassware and laboratory media.

Chamber Sizes & Construction

Natural gravity convection produces no noise or vibration and provides gentle air flow inside the chamber.


The chamber of the DUROCELL® is coated with an EPOLON organic polymer coating that is resistant to solvents including,
  • Ethylalcohol
  • Butylalcohol
  • Benzene
  • Toluene
  • Xylene
Fully resistant to:
  • Trichloretylen
  • Perchloretylen
  • Metyletylen
  • Acetone – slightly softened surface
Additionally, the EPOLON coating provides resistance against acids and alkaline liquids, including:
  • Diluted acids (10%: H2S04, HCL, H3PO4)
  • Lactacid
  • Acetic acid
  • 10% sodium hydroxide
  • Potassium hydroxide
  • Citric acid

Chamber Construction

DUROOCELL® dry heat ovens are equipped with a pharmaceutical grade AISI 304 stainless steel chamber with a double wall construction to prolong life expectancy. The inner chamber features a seamless, rounded corner design and is fully removable for easier cleaning and sterilization. The door of the chamber employs a patented 4-point closing system that seals the door to the chamber gasket and enables hands-free opening and closing.

ECO Controller

DUROCELL® dry heat ovens are equipped with BMT USA’s ECO controller, which utilizes fuzzy logic to assess process data, including operation temperature, chamber size, and other controlled elements. Based on the assessed data, the controller can make continuous adjustments to input values, such as heating intensity or cooling, to optimally regulate internal chamber conditions. With the goal of minimizing the time required to meet set process parameters, DUROCELL® dry heat ovens equipped with the ECO controller can quickly ramp up to the exact temperature set point without overshooting. The result is reduced overall cycle time, power consumption, and recovery times after opening the chamber door(s).
